Join Me and Nancy for this special pre- holiday workshop designed to restore and renew your well-being. While resting in relaxing restorative yoga poses with lots of props, you will receive gentle hands on massage and stretches to encourage the release of tension and to promote deep relaxation. We will blend Shiatsu techniques and stretches, which offer meridian stimulation, gentle massage techniques and restorative yoga, to lead you to feel the full effects of total body integration leaving you in a Zen-like state of mind which will bring your mind, body and spirit into balance and harmony. Sunset yoga is coming to Moonshot Farm this summer! We're thrilled to have Romy Toussaint join us to teach a series of one-hour gentle yoga right in our flower field on these dates:

  • Thursday, July 22 (6-7pm)

  • Thursday, August 26 (6-7pm)

  • Thursday, September 23 (6-7pm)

Romy has been teaching yoga and mindfulness for over 20 years. She is a certified conscious leadership life coach and a certified yoga teacher and a certified yoga health coach. She has studied alignment-based yoga, Kundalini, Hatha, Vinyasa yoga and meditation with a variety of teachers and has over 1,000 hours of yoga certification.

50% of sales from the yoga classes will go to the National Black Farmers' Association, to aid in the fight against hunger, prevent land loss, and secure food sovereignty. Donations to make it possible for the NBFA to continue its outreach efforts, technical assistance and nationwide advocacy to help socially disadvantaged and limited resource farmers.

All are welcome. Yoga will be taught in the grass pathways of our flower field.

Please bring your own yoga mat. We can't wait to open up our space to you!

Come learn about the 5 major elements of nature and how they work in your life; enjoy the fresh air and majestic views and surround yourself with like minded people!

Day begins with walking meditation, yoga followed by healthy energizing breakfast.  Grab your lunch and choose a moderate or challenging hike return with plenty of time left for quiet time and journaling a delicious dinner and lots of time to relax and connect with yourself and others.  

  • Friday -  Optional Hike - Yoga & Dinner - Arrive anytime after 1pm.

The term solstice comes from the Latin word solstitium, meaning 'the Sun stands still'.   According to experts, the Sun reaches its southernmost position as seen from the Earth and it seems to stand still and is also considered as the first day of Winter season.  

Winter and Summer Solstice are widely celebrated around the world with feast and rituals to commemorate the light and darkness. This holiday season may feel Darker and more Stressful than usual given pandemic lockdowns, travel restrictions and the continued uncertainties of our political climate as we work to balance personal challenges.   

I want to help support you during this time by providing you with tools and practices to move from stress to ease and to thrive!

Join me and commit to creating ease this holiday season by committing to a Winter Solstice Meditation & Habits Challenge. 

Here is how it works:  

1- Commit to a meditation practice from  December 1-21

  • Choose how you want to honor this commitment by choosing your personal meditation commitment:  Meditate 5, 10, 15,  21 to 30+ minutes per day.  Choose what works for you.

  • Learn meditation basics, different meditation techniques and how to sit or do walking meditation.


2-  Learn & apply simple Ayurvedic tools & habits to shift into great health, ease and flow

  • Each week we will meet via zoom online for 1 hour

  • Learn breathing techniques, habit evolution and behavioral science, science of Ayurveda, tools to cultivate health,  calm and ease and build and keep a strong immune system.

3. Practice Yoga Nidra Or Sacred Rest Sessions with Linda Domino of Sacred Trails

  • Sacred Rest is an invitation. Your body and mind are invited into a state of deep, rejuvenating rest. This guided practice, done most often reclined with the body supported, is beautifully nourishing for the body, mind, and soul.

  • Dec 6 and Dec 20 4-5pm

    • Kick off Meeting:   Sunday, November 29,    4:00-5:00 pm

    • Weekly Virtual Group Meetings from  November 29, Dec 23 TBA

    • All Meetings will be recorded and shared in case you miss one.

    • Registration Required - No experience necessary

Commit to setting aside time to prevent feeling isolated, anxious, stressed, burnt out and instead build practices to flow through the season with ease, more connection; strong immunity while building  a strong start to 2021.
