The term solstice comes from the Latin word solstitium, meaning 'the Sun stands still'.   According to experts, the Sun reaches its southernmost position as seen from the Earth and it seems to stand still and is also considered as the first day of Winter season.  

Winter and Summer Solstice are widely celebrated around the world with feast and rituals to commemorate the light and darkness. This holiday season may feel Darker and more Stressful than usual given pandemic lockdowns, travel restrictions and the continued uncertainties of our political climate as we work to balance personal challenges.   

I want to help support you during this time by providing you with tools and practices to move from stress to ease and to thrive!

Join me and commit to creating ease this holiday season by committing to a Winter Solstice Meditation & Habits Challenge. 

Here is how it works:  

1- Commit to a meditation practice from  December 1-21

  • Choose how you want to honor this commitment by choosing your personal meditation commitment:  Meditate 5, 10, 15,  21 to 30+ minutes per day.  Choose what works for you.

  • Learn meditation basics, different meditation techniques and how to sit or do walking meditation.


2-  Learn & apply simple Ayurvedic tools & habits to shift into great health, ease and flow

  • Each week we will meet via zoom online for 1 hour

  • Learn breathing techniques, habit evolution and behavioral science, science of Ayurveda, tools to cultivate health,  calm and ease and build and keep a strong immune system.

3. Practice Yoga Nidra Or Sacred Rest Sessions with Linda Domino of Sacred Trails

  • Sacred Rest is an invitation. Your body and mind are invited into a state of deep, rejuvenating rest. This guided practice, done most often reclined with the body supported, is beautifully nourishing for the body, mind, and soul.

  • Dec 6 and Dec 20 4-5pm

    • Kick off Meeting:   Sunday, November 29,    4:00-5:00 pm

    • Weekly Virtual Group Meetings from  November 29, Dec 23 TBA

    • All Meetings will be recorded and shared in case you miss one.

    • Registration Required - No experience necessary

Commit to setting aside time to prevent feeling isolated, anxious, stressed, burnt out and instead build practices to flow through the season with ease, more connection; strong immunity while building  a strong start to 2021.
